Sin una nutrici\u00f3n equilibrada adecuada, estos procesos se paralizan. El resultado es una planta inmadura y\/o poco saludable. O, en el peor de los casos, la planta puede incluso morir. S\u00f3lo si se suministran todos los nutrientes esenciales en la cantidad adecuada, una planta podr\u00e1 prosperar de forma \u00f3ptima.<\/p><p>Una proporci\u00f3n incorrecta de elementos nutricionales puede provocar da\u00f1os en la planta. Esto puede incluso provocar da\u00f1os irreparables. El boro, por ejemplo, es un elemento que la planta necesita en poca cantidad. Tiene un papel importante en varias funciones. Existen numerosas interacciones posibles entre los distintos elementos. A continuaci\u00f3n se presenta una versi\u00f3n simplificada del gr\u00e1fico de Mulder. En \u00e9l se muestran diversas interacciones.<\/p><p><strong>Antagonismo<\/strong>Una mayor adici\u00f3n de un determinado nutriente puede afectar a la absorci\u00f3n de otros nutrientes por parte de la planta. Este elemento se vuelve entonces menos disponible. <br \/>Un mayor contenido de (N) Nitr\u00f3geno puede reducir la disponibilidad de (K) Potasio, (Cu) Cobre y (B) Boro. <br \/>Un mayor contenido de (P) Fosfato puede afectar a la disponibilidad de (Ca) Calcio, (K) Potasio, (Fe) Hierro, (Cu) Cobre y (Zn) Zinc. <br \/>Een verhoogde (K) Kaliumgehalte kan de beschikbaarheid be\u00efnvloeden van de opname van (Mg) Magnesium. <br \/>Un mayor contenido de (Ca) Calcio puede afectar a la disponibilidad de (P) Potasio, (Fe) Hierro, (Mg) Magnesio, (B) Boro, (Zn) Zinc y (P) F\u00f3sforo.<\/p><p><strong>Estimulaci\u00f3n<\/strong>Esto ocurre cuando el alto nivel de un nutriente aumenta la demanda de otro por parte de la planta. Por ejemplo, un mayor nivel de nitr\u00f3geno (N) crea una demanda de m\u00e1s magnesio (Mg). Un mayor nivel de potasio (K) aumenta la demanda de hierro (Fe). Un mayor contenido de (Mo) Molibdeno aumenta la demanda de (Cu) Cobre y (N) conoci\u00f3 como la Soluci\u00f3n Hoagland. Esta soluci\u00f3n sigue siendo la base de la nutrici\u00f3n vegetal actual. \u00a0Esta soluci\u00f3n nutritiva proporciona todos los nutrientes esenciales que necesitan las plantas. Con esta base, se han desarrollado muchos productos nutricionales. Algunos se han desarrollado m\u00e1s espec\u00edficamente para ese grupo especial de plantas. Otras son para un grupo m\u00e1s general de plantas. Los nutrientes se agrupan seg\u00fan las cantidades relativas que una planta necesita de ellos. Los nutrientes primarios son los que m\u00e1s necesita la planta. Los elementos secundarios menos y los microelementos u oligoelementos menos. Pero esto no quita la importancia que la planta otorga a los elementos.
